Telephone Curly Cords

Telephone Handset Cords CurlyAustralian standard handset cords / Universal Telephone Handset cords
Fits all corded telephones.
These cords come complete with standard small 4P4C Modular plugs at each end.
4P4C modular plugs are often various names. Including RJ11, RJ22, RJ10, or RJ9.
These cords go from the wall or desk mounted telephone to the handset.

These cords have the correct small plugs for telephone handsets.
These plugs are 7.7mm wide. Definitely not the bigger 9.65mm plugs that go from the wall to the phone.

*These cords are Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) approved. Beware of cheap non-compliant imports!

We have three lengths.

Standard,  3m Total Cable Length. Extends to 2.4m Max.
Long, 5m Total Cable Length. Extends to 4m Max.
eXtraLong, 8m Total Cable Length. Extends to 6.4m Max.

Some people just call them by their total cable length. e.g. 3m, 5m and 8m.
Which is the total amount of cable in the cord.
So if you unwind it…it is that length. (Totally straight)
As a practical extended length we say they go to approx 80% of the total cable length, so 2.4m, 4m, and 6.4m respectively.

I am after 2 off these cords PRO-THC-LONG. I am using them with the comander HX Series telephone and i need a tail about 70mm long to connect.

Does the above cable have 70mm tails?

    • Paul Scott says:

      Hi Peter,

      Thanks for your comment.

These cords have short tails. (see picture for details)

It’s quite OK to manually straighten the tail to make it fit. (People do it all the time)

      Best regards

      Paul.

Hi, I need a red phone handset cord to reach about a meter around a corner. I live in SA, would you have any? I see your website says you have limited stock in red. Please let me know.
    Thanks

  6. Jeff Henningham says:

I am looking for a curly handset cord for for an Astral/Royal Albert telephone. Existing has a moulded grommet/strain relief with 7mm diameter where it enters the handset. Earpiece wires are 25cm long but it would be easy to extend those if necessary. 4P4C plug on phone end -I have a crimper and could fit a plug if necessary.
White, but cream would be acceptable. Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    • Paul Scott says:

I’ll look them up, and shoot you an email.

      All the best…
      Paul.

Hello we have a Panasonic KX-DT333 and need a replacement cord that goes from handset to headset – are these the correct ones to use? Thanks!

  12. Eva Georgiades says:

Hi, we have a Panasonic R ECO cordless phone. Do you have a cord suitable for this model?

    Thanks, Eva

    • Paul Scott says:

      Hi Eva,
I’m not familiar with that model.
Do you wan a straight cord to go from the phone base to the wall?
That would be what we would call a line cord.
If so…how long would you like? and is the colour important?

      Best regards
      Paul.
